About Me:
Well, my name is Katlyn and I turned 14 in February.
My brother hasn't talked or seen me since 2000
I lost my grandfather to cancer on 9-11-2002
I lost my grandmother to sickness on 8-2-2007
I miss them all greatly
About my Loss:
My grandfather died from cancer in 2002 when I was only six. I knew he had cancer, but at that age, I did not expect to come home from school to be told my grandfather/bestfriend was dead. I made my dog, Sheba, my new best friend. Sheba died less than two weeks later. It was hard on me, but I still had my grandmother who my mom and I lived with. We ended up putting her in a home and I only saw her maybe one time a month. She died in 2007 when I waseleven which was also very difficult for me.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
