About Me:
I am a school bus driver.
About my Loss:
This December 4th was the 3rd year since the house fire. Shawn was able to help rescue the 4 children, fiance' and Zoe dog. The fireman found his body and found a slight sign of life. He had 73% deep tissue burns. He survived 5 months at Harborview. That Easter family wanted machines shut off. They said I was tortuosly keeping Shawn alive. I kept hoping Shawn needed 1 more day to get better. May1, I was told by the doctors that a decision needed to be made. I couldnt and let the doctors decide. I was told I need to explain to Shawn (29 years old ) what was happening. I cannot imagine not having guilt for Shaens death

She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Some days I’m perfectly fine, but others I can’t walk down the street without crying. I keep thinking that I haven’t talked to her in a while & I…See More
