- It's been a rough year. I lost my brother last December, a 16 nephew-in-law in May and then less than a month later, my oldest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, my stepbrother has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and my favorite aunt is dying from heart failure. It's just too much.
