- Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. I lost my angel on August 10th, 2010. My mom died from congested heart failure, she was a young 89.
My mom had me at 42, and I'm the 5 child. I lived with my mom, right to the end of her life, i was her caretaker. She was my life !!! I've been so lost without her, it's unbearable at times. All I want is one more time to hear her beautiful voice. She had the patience of a saint, which I don't have that part of her DNA. I never heard her ever speak an ill word of anyone, she was one amazing woman, mother, wife, sister and friend to all!
There are days when the loss is overwhelming. We recently sold our childhood home, which I lived in for 42 years, and now I live in an apartment solo, and can't call this home. I want to still go home and be with my mom. My dad passed 15 years ago as well.
You can't really describe the emotions you have after losing your mother. I feel that I lost my identity and joy after losing my mother. I still cry for her and my heart breaks all over again. I know grieving is a normal phase, I'm just not sure if this gets easier with time. It has totally changed me, and made me isolated and reclusive. I need some days to feel the pain and than deal with it later.
