About my Loss:
My father died from a massive heart attack on October 31, 1984. We were home alone & I was sitting next to him on the couch when it happened..I was just 9 years old. Nine years later on October 7, 1993, we received a phone call from Boston telling us that my oldest brother had been found dead in his apt. He died from cirrhosis of the liver caused after contracting AIDS. Then on August 2, 2013, I was sitting next to my 2nd oldest brothers bedside as he took his last breath. He died from cirrhosis of the liver caused from years of alcoholism. Just recently on May 27, 2016 my older cousin was driving from Cali to Az when she lost control of her vehicle & died after flipping her car 8 times then on August 10, 2016 someone that I had been inseparable with for a couple years after high school before losing touch & had began rebuilding a friendship with in the past couple months, died in a head on crash after falling asleep at the wheel. Each new death stirs up all the emotions from the previous losses so it seems like I never truly get past the last loss before I'm hit with a new one.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
