About my Loss:
I lost my sister suddenly and traumatically on July 25th, 2011. I was 4 months pregnant at the time. My son is now 10 months old and I still feel as though the world has gone quiet without my sister here. I find myself experiencing some post traumatic stress symptoms and am concerned not only for my health, but of course for the health of my son as well as husband. My emotions are often erratic and extreme. I adore my son and see him as my source of light. I am scared to imagine where I'd be right now without his daily reminder that there is still joy in this world. That being said, my sadness and anger are often both overwhelming and isolating. For this reason, I am seeking refuge and solace in this online community.
