About my Loss:
My mom died Jan 24 2016. We were very close. She was 87 yrs old but still young I. Her heart and mind. It all started August 2015. She woke up one morning dizzy and dry heaves. I called 911. after many tests it was determined she had TTP a rare blood disease. It caused a heart attack and stroke. After 38 plasma pherisis treatments she recovered! She almost died then....she had some good days after that but then got pneumonia twice, continued to have blood count issues, swallowing problems preventing her from eating etc....in Jan we went back to the hospital for the last time. Her body was wearing out. She couldn't walk anymore and she lost her voice. It was horrible not being able to know what she was saying in her final days. We got her back to the nursing home and 2 days later she died. Worst days of my life. she was part of my everyday, every holiday....finding my way out of the darkness has been hard. I miss her a lot....

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
