Profile Information

About Me:
Mum/Grandma, breast cancer survivor of two years. Single/divorced and living alone (my partner and I have separated as a result of the stress). I am finding it very difficult to come to terms with the loss of my son.
About my Loss:
I lost my son at the age of 26 after three years of treatment for Hodgkin s Lymphoma. He was diagnosed in December 2012, in Dec 2013 after 9 months of treatment his cancer came back. At the same time I was diagnosed with breast cancer... we were both having chemo at the same time. The day after my treatment ended he had stem cell replacement therapy, his sister was his donor. He died on 12 December 2015 three years to the week he was first diagnosed after six months in hospital. We are all devastated and I have to stay strong for my family.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
