About Me:
I am a Registered Nurse and relocated to Florida from Vermont with my husband and two children 8 months ago for more sunshine. I miss the mountains and hiking but have found a love for the beach. I spend most of my free time travelling to my children's soccer and baseball games and absolutely love It.
About my Loss:
I lost my mother on November 16, 2015. I had lived within 15 miles of her for the past 15 years up until last June when my family relocated to Florida. I asked my mother about moving, but she said she would never leave the mountains. On the date of her death, I received a call from her work stating she had never shown up. After trying to reach her hy phone, I called the police department in her town requesting a welfare check be done. 45 minutes later, I was on the phone with the officer, as he was telling me my mother was at her home and passed in her sleep. She was 65 and looking forward to retiring next year. I am at a loss without her. I know she wanted nothing more than happiness for her family and remind myself of that daily, but often feel like my emotions get the best of me. I am brokenhearted but really want to reach a point if happiness that my mother would be proud.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
