Kara,
The fact that you have reached out here to try and help your sister says one thing to me. You are a large resource already.
That you are there is huge. Be there for here asa much as you can to just let her talk. Try not to analyze her feelings about what has happened. SHe needs someone to talk to. Do what you can to keep foods easy for her to access in the frig and lots of juices and water for her to drink available. Apple, cranberry etc. nothing too acidic.
Those are the practical things she will not want to do for herself. AS for the emotional parts just be there. Daily if you can. Even if it is only by phone.
These are some of the things that have helped me and I lost my husband. This is a treacherous time. It will be ongoing. Dont give up on her and don't tell her she needs to move on. She needs to grieve, heavily. SHe has the weight of the world on her shoulders right now.
I wish I had a better something to say but just remember, you are one of her larger resources right now because you care.
