About Me:
I am 68 years old and now in an assisted living facility since the passing of my Lynn.
About my Loss:
Lynn and I were together 27 years. She died of Lung Cancer on April 18, 2013. We had a very special connection during our time together that few people would understand. To say the least, I am devastated and trying in vain to move on. Though there are times when I don't want to move on. At least I have the pain of her loss for comfort. It is the only thing I have left. When Lynn died, I lost our home, our car, our two beloved Kitties, unconditional love, my support system, my way of life and every possession we had both worked for. I think they call it Complicated Grief. Well, it's complicated all right. I wrote a couple things on grief while trying to go thru this:
You may stumble your way thru it but you will
never again walk the same.

Grief: The only thing you can't drown with tears.

I hate to say the same old tired thing but I am so very sorry for your loss.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
