This was one of the best books I have read in a long time. Not what I was expecting, and I could not put it down. This book is a collection of short stories about people's experiences with death and dying, and I loved everyone of them. "I think that all of life is a dream, and when we die, we wake up! " declares the author's four year old son in one short chapter. How wonderful to have thoughts like these captured and generously shared with us all. The book relates vignettes of spiritual conversations the author has had with disparate individuals over the course of his lifetime. Each thought or conversation is illuminating in some way. BEGENDINGS is also a loving tribute from that son, now an adult, to his father, who 'woke up' many years ago. Surely, Father Talentino is pleased, from his new vantage point, to see his writings brought to life. I know I am. I hope many people read this book and benefit from its wisdom.
