About Me:
I am 21 and originally from a small town. Moved to Savannah for 3 years right out of high school and moved back home recently. I think my upbringing and my life has made me strong but i was unable to speak to either of my parents before the died. my mom was on too much morphine to respond and my dad had a ventilator and eventually brain damage due to liver failure.My parents were both highly respected among they're friends. But i was born when my mother was 39 and they also had a certain life stile that contributed to there early deaths. both my parents drank and smoked pot all my life and i have used both to cope my self but i want to do better and live a healthier lifestyle. Before and after my dads death i had dreams of his being a ghost and taunting me and trying to scare me. those have stopped but now I'm having dreams hes alive and having trouble sleeping. I need help and advice.
About my Loss:
My mother got sick in December of 2002. In February of 2003 she was diagnosed with kidney cancer two weeks later on March 1st she passed away. I was 12 at the time. I lived with my dad and coped best the best i could dealing with depression for about 4 years. I was living is Savannah had a good job and a good life and had finally some what gotten my self together. My dad and i talked a couple times a week.In the beginning of July my dad wasn't feeling well, but like most men didn't want to go to the doctor. Thought he could beat his flu like symptoms. After about a month he realized he couldn't beat it and called the ambulance and was life flighted to the hospital. He coded 3 times once at the hospital and was in major organ failure when her arrived. it was a 5 hour drive for me and once i got there they said the needed to start dialysis which was his only hope. After 2 weeks i made the decision to stop everything and move him to a hospice unit of the hospital.He passed away August 11th 2012.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
