My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. Dear Jessica,
My heart certainly goes out to you. I wish words would fix your pain but I fear that is not the case. I have found though that we all travel this grief journey differently and in our own time so you will only get suggestions from me and heartfelt support. I am very sorry to welcome you but you have found a wonderful supportive group of people who understand.
As I said I would leave a suggestion - only because this seems to be the better comfort and help my entire family has found - it is to lean on God and pray, a lot. You know the song LEAN ON ME?

Well we have found God to be the one who always has the ability to rush to your rescue, night or day. But the most comforting is that he wants to. (Isaiah 41:10) “’Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you.
