About Me:
I have a wonderful son and many many loving friends.
About my Loss:
I was a live-in caregiver for a dear woman who passed away on March 15th, 2012. I am having difficulty with closure I think due in part to the fact that after her admission to a care facility her daughter who was also her POA had me barred from visiting her in the care facility and unfortunately that is where she died 2 weeks later I had worked with her for 8 yrs. and for the last three yrs. she and I spent nearly every hour of every day together. As she aged she grew more precious to me as each day passed. She had a stroke and a week later, her daughter and son-in-law Doctor finally admitted her to a hospital and then a care facility. I never dreamed that her daughter would keep us apart. A friend who was able to see her in the facility told me that she was asking for me. Fortunately the friend told her that I loved her and was trying to see her but was not allowed. The void created by her passing along with not being allowed to be with her when she needed me most has created quite a turbulence.
