36-year-old living in Washington, DC
About my Loss:
Completely unexpected loss of healthy/active mother (age 69) (apparent cardiac arrest) just a month ago. Was having some issues with depression/motivation beforehand, and mother and I were very close. We had hour-long conversations every night discussing everything under the sun. She was my soul mate. I can't move past this. In a way I don't think I should. But she was concerned about me (that I wasn't leaving the house enough, etc.) before this happened (I can't stand to write certain things), and I know it would make her the happiest if I were 'doing better.' I want to try for her.

Grandma sewing room
