About Me:
I cared for my husband while he died from dementia. He was 55 years old when he was diagnosed. He was the love of my life. He was the most wonderful person anyone could ever meet. His smile lit up the world.
About my Loss:
John's illness was so unfair. His life was worth living. He helped people, he didn't deserve this awful end. I was the happiest I've ever been knowing him. We were together for twenty years, eight of those years he was sick, but always, there was a spark of him with me up until the moment he died. I cared for him at home. The home we loved and I'm still in. Everywhere I look I see him, he was a handyman in his spare time! My peace comes from being here in the place he loved so much, I sense he'll never leave here, and I always keep him close in my heart.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
