Profile Information

About Me:
Sixty-seven year old retired chemist. Traveled extensively in Asia, Europe and Central America. Know Hmong and am studying Hindi. Only one sister left and we aren't in contact. LOVE DOGS but can't have one now in my inner city apartment.
About my Loss:
My baby sister Bobbie had bad diabetes and had a pancreas transplant in 1994. The experimental anti-rejection drugs gave her full-body lymphoma and we almost lost her then. But God wasn't finished with her yet. At a 5-yr check up in 2012 Stage 4 colon cancer was discovered. Despite everything done to help her, she died on April 9, 2014. My father, whose favorite child she was, died of a broken heart only 4 months later. I am alone in a big East Coast City, living now with an very elderly couple who have been friends of Bobbie for 30 years.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
