About Me:
I'm 59 years old, soon to be 60 this June. Married 31 years. I have 2 children, a daughter who is 38 and a son that is 27. And 3 beautiful grandchildren. Josh who passed 5 days after he turned 20 years old. Another grandson who is 17 years old and a granddaughter who is 4 years old. My kids are my world...
About my Loss:
I lost my precious grandson Josh 5 days after he turned 20 years old on Oct. 30 2012 due to a horrible car accident. He lived with his Papa and i his whole 20 years. His mom, my daughter was in and out of their lives up to when she had her 4 year old daughter, she moved back home when Savannah was born. We are all devastated and can't believe this has happened to our family. The first year was so hard, but i think going on into this 2nd year without him seems much, much harder! The first year i think we were just in a fog and numb....now it feels real. Josh is never coming home. I have cried everyday since he died. On top of it all we have to deal with a law suit against us. My husband is besides himself...the man that was involved in the accident with my grandson is suing us personally.(the truck that our grandson was driving to work was registered in my husbands name)The man had some surgery's on his foot and ankle...he won't except the insurance policy which is $100,000.00 limit. He wants more, we don't have it, point blank! We own a home and that's it..my husband is retired from working as a bricklayer for 40 years and just recently took a driving job for the elderly to bring back and forth to their appointments so we can have health insurance. Now with this law suit we could lose our home home..haven't we lost enough???!!!!

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
