Profile Information

About Me:
60, retired, only child, no children but 2 step children.
About my Loss:
My husband, 69, and I went out to dinner with friends on April 4. Came home, kissed good night, talked about what we'd do the next day: Easter. Woke up. Read for a bit. Rolled over and he was dead. Coroner said some time during the night. Assumed heart attack. No illness. Recent pulmonary and cardio work up by Mayo Clinic were all good. This Saturday will be 8 months. I am seeing a psychologist but progress is sooooo slow. My life has changed. My friends have changed. I have changed. I am depressed...function but then hurry home to tv or bed.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
