About Me:
I’m a journalist, working as a morning news reporter. In my free time I love to read and hike.
About my Loss:
The most significant loss was when my mom died suddenly two years ago because of diabetes complications. I didn’t have a dad growing up so she was my only parent and I was an only child. With no surviving aunts/uncles/grandparents, no siblings, and now no parents, I’m the last surviving member of my immediate family at 29.
TW: My first big loss was my cousin who was my best friend growing up. I was 13 and he was 12 when he committed suicide. I’ve still never really found closure with his passing.
