Profile Information

About Me:
Both of us are Alaskn with Alaskan Native ancestry. Our son Jimi was adopted out of our Native corporation in Nome.
About my Loss:
Jimi, 20, was a beautiful young native boy who suffered from substance abuse. He had been sober for over a year, was in a good place with himself, and had a girlfriend! We found him hanging with a belt in his bedroom an obvious "choking game" victim! We are at a total loss as to how to carry on day to day with such an horrific vision in front of us every minute of the day.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
