About Me:
I am 23 years old and a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University. I'm majoring in Sociology. I would like to become a counselor for people who have had a traumatic loss in their life. I was an only child until last year. I just found out I have a sister and she's 19 years old (my father's side).
About my Loss:
I lost my mother on May 22, 2014 to cancer. She was diagnosed with Hypoxia, Malignant Pleural Effusion, and Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2012. I was her only child and was closer to my mother than my father. All my life it's been me and her and now it's just me. I feel like a part of me has died as well.
