About Me:
I am a 39 yo mother of two. I am disabled myself, from Cushing's disease (survivor), but I had to trade it for Addison's Disease, when they resected my adrenal glands because the pituitary tumor grew back after the initial surgery to remove it. That is the short version of a complexsituation. My husband, my kids, were my everything. I will never fully recover from the call we received that idle Thursday afternoon, telling us to get him to the ER immediately. Little did we know that in the next two hours, our lives would be changed forever, and he would be headed to Seattle.... Not returning home with me for the next two months. Only briefly when he was able, and never again as it was.
I aman extremely private person. I keep to myself. Now that I am finding myself alone - without my best friend, soulmate, my other half - I am consumed in sadness, loneliness, and I suppose joining this group may be the biproduct of a desparate act. i am hoping to find others who understand.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband in January of this year, after a nine minth battle with acute biphenotypic leukemia.
