About Me:
My name is Jaime. I lost my loving Mom, Elisa, a month ago on Saturday/Sunday morning January 8th 2012.

I was lucky to have 33+ years with her. She was my best friend and I will always love her.

I now somewhat understand the grief she might have gone through when I went away for college. I think I understand why she was sad; she couldn't see me daily and I was hundreds of miles away. I didn't understand it then, but I get it now.

I grew up with two loving parents, one older brother and two younger sisters. Older brother passed away 6yrs ago this coming July; he was in his mid thirties.

Mom was devastated. That actually might be the HARDEST thing one can go through in a lifetime - child going before the parent.

I have a sister who is 11 months younger and another who is 7 years younger. We are ALL close and enjoy being around one another.

I also have one amazing, delightful niece who is 7yrs.

Being that my Brother and Mom have passed, my immediate family is pretty small.
About my Loss:
My MOM passed away a month ago yesterday. She lost consciousness on Saturday January 7, 2012 around 9:20pm PST and took her last artificial breath on Sunday January 8, 2012 at 3:14am.

It was totally unexpected, but she kept saying she felt like she was going to die soon?? Cause of death was a cerebral aneurism. Basically, their was a brain blood clot and it burst and immediately lost consciousness.

I LOVE YOU MOM!

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
