About Me:
I am 37 years old. An only child. Lost my mother to breast cancer when I was 26. Lost my father to colon cancer when I was 32. I was very close with my mother - but estranged from my father for many years - but his loss is felt in a much different way than my mother's. There is a huge void in my life I simply cannot fill - and I don't have any other family in my life except a cousin who lives overseas.
About my Loss:
I wish and hope to connect with others who can understand what this loss is like - specifically as an only child. It's like a mental hell, because I don't feel like I have an identity anymore - I don't have a family.

Grandma sewing room
