Profile Information

About Me:
I'm married with one living child and one deceased. I'm very creative and love to write poetry. I began writing after my son's death. I belong to a poetry forum called PoetrySoup.com where I have met lots of friends. I believe God touched me with this gift for therapeutic value to help me deal with the devestation of losing a child. My first husband also passed away many years ago.
About my Loss:
My beloved son, Joshua, committed suicide on July 20, 2012. He hung himself and left no note. I blame myself everyday for not knowing the depth of despair and suffering he was experiencing. I'm his mother...I should have known better.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
