Single widow mom of four.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband on Dec. 13th, 2011 to bone cancer. He had a previous injury due to a dui driver running into my husbands dump truck causing an accident while working for our state highway dept. The accident caused damage to cervical vertebrae 4 (c4). He then had the surgery to replace it, the Dr. Told him if he had another surgery he gave him 50/50 chance that he'd walk out of there. He was always in pain, every since I met him. He started losing his momentum and eventually could not walk without me. Sun. Nov. 27th,2011 he started talking to people who didn't exists, then later that evening he started coughing up liver like masses of blood, I took him to see the Dr.the next day, Nov. 28th, 2011. The Dr. Started in the room reading his chart and she saw that he was spitting up blood and sent us to the ER. He was in pretty bad shape. Placed on a ventilator on Dec. 1st because heart rate was 165bpm steady,they said it would give out if it continued without help from vent. They did a bone marrow biopsy Dec.7th to discover when results came in on Dec.11th that he had bone cancer, a pet scan couldn't find the source, Dr. Said its already in his kidneys, liver, traces starting in his lungs and throughout his lymph nodes & he had 5 broken Thorasic vertebrae starting with T9. My husband age 44 passed away 21 hours later. His injury from work masked his cancer, as as as I know, he never knew of his diagnosis. The most saddest day of my life.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
