Gregory - I have been so moved by your posts and my heart goes out to you with deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. My father died a number of years ago and just recently I lost my mother as well. There is an emptiness in my heart that is not easily going away. So I do understand to some degree how you are feeling. I have been reading a brochure that I downloaded entitled "When Someone You Love Dies". It has helped me to understand the stages of grief - that I am not going crazy - that everything I am feeling is normal. And that even though the pain of losing our parents is a pain that never totally goes away, it can be eased somewhat by hope. It also is comforting me in learning that my Mom and my Dad are "sleeping" and that God has promised to awaken them one day to reunite them with me and with each other. If you think reading this brochure may be helpful to you, it can be found on JW.org. I am sending you my deepest condolences. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Linda M.
