- I have no family. Parents are dead and they never were much to begin with. Narcissistic and gaslighting father convinced everyone else that I was incompetent and an embarrassment and I was treated as such. Brother sexually assaulted me and told me years later when I brought it up that he felt sorry for the tortured person I'd become. I hate seeing people with their children who are talking to them and interacting with them. It makes me sick. I was treated as if I didn't exist and have few recollections of any kind of conversation or kindness shown me by my family. I feel like an outcast.
