About Me:
54 years old, single, out gay man living in New York, work in the television business in marketing, successful, healthy, generally happy and emotionally stable
About my Loss:
My 87 year old Mom died in September of 2014 and I just can't seem to get passed her loss. We loved each other very much and we had a very open, honest relationship. But I've been struggling with feelings of anger (why did she leave me?) and intense sadness (miss seeing her ever week). Somedays I feel like I'm having an out of body experience the feelings are so intense. My friends and family are very supportive and I'm in pyschotherapy, and have been for 14 years. I think the other issue my Mom's death is bring up for me is my own mortality and time left on the earth.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
