Profile Information

About Me:
I am 55, live on Long Island in NY. I have 3 grown girls, and very close to them. I love the ocean, own a boat (which currently am learning to drive on my own) and I love to read. I stopped working in 2008, due to the recession, and never went back, a big regret now.
About my Loss:
I met my husband at the tender age of 9 years old. Our brothers played baseball together. I had an instant crush. We played together every day. At age 13, he asked me to go steady. We married at 21, and 34 years together, I lost the love of my life, my soul mate, my one and only Louis. He was only 56, and died of cancer. I don't know who I am without him.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
