About Me:
I am 65 years old. I work part time.
About my Loss:
In 2002 I lost my first husband. We were married 31 years. He fell and wound up with a massive cerebral hemorrhage. He died after a roller coast ride in ICU for three weeks. I was devastated. He was 58 and I was 56. In 2007 I met another man. He was not the soul mate of my first husband but we both enjoyed many of the same things. We married in 2009. A week and a half ago he went to play golf. He was found slumped over in his golf cart. I was told he was gone when the paramedics arrived. An interest we shared was traveling. We were to go to China this week. We had a trip to Disney World planned for April and were beginning the plans for a trip to India in Nov 2013. The house is so quiet. I keep asking why me. It's not fair to lose two men I loved in such a short period of time. I lost my faith after the first death. People spout platitudes. It's all I can do to keep from screaming some times.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
