About Me:
I raised my daughter by myself since the age of 4 years old. I taught school and was an Asst. High School principal the other half or career. I moved to Virginia to be close to and help Debbie, my daughter. Have no one else and do not know people here
About my Loss:
Debbie was being treated for high blood pressure. Every time we would go to her Doctors, They would just change prescription--I told them something else is wrong, I know my child. I wanted a body scan. They stopped letting me come in office. Debbie had a stroke on Sept 13, 2009, finally got here home for 6 days and she died in my arms. It turned out she had cancer of the kidney which sent tumors all thru here body. I have half raised my two granddaughter, but my son in law did get along that well. He assaulted me after back surgery in 2001. two months after Debbie died, on Jan. 1,2010, he will not let me see my two granddaughter who were in 10 and 14 at the time. When my daughter was recuperating, she would say "Mom if something happens to me you take care of my kids, you raised me and Chuck (husband) does not really know or understand them. The last seven years of here life she taught college here and her husband was gone 6-7 month to Washington DC doing negotiations with a team for the air craft carriers-he is engineer at Newport New Shipbuilding. So again it was just Debbie and me bringing up the two kids. I fill in any where and everywhere. It has just been Debbie and me and he came from double family--mother,father,stepmother stepfather,had two brothers and a sister, but when his mother remarried-got 5 more kids AND he still was the baby. He has a brother 2 years younger than me. He has no compassiom and only cares about himself and any way he can hurt me--forgetting he is or cares little he is hurting my granddaughters. I lived with them for 4 year, got my house BUT was with them everyday--only 1/4 mile away. I was so glad to be with my daughter as health declineing, as we have been so close all our lives. She was all I had--my sunshine, my best friend, my world. I am losing it!!

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
