About my Loss:
My Mother died suddenly in August 2006. She had been in the hospital for about 2 weeks with a bleeding ulcers, she almost died twice in the hospital. She started to recover and was released to my sisters house to wait for surgery. She was doing great, my mom, sister and myself went shopping, had manicures, a great lunch, and a long long talk, about how much we loved each other, how worried my sister and I had been and how happy we were that she was better. She went to sleep, woke with a backache, then said she felt better and when she got out of bed she fell to the floor and died before the ambulance could arrive. My heart has ached since that moment. I can't seem to even enjoy the good things in my life without her.

Grandma sewing room
