About Me:
I enjoy physical activity such as jogging & hiking. I love animals. I have 4 cats & 2 dogs. I live in the beautiful foothills of northern California.
About my Loss:
I was married to an alcoholic for 10 years. The disease of alcoholism is cunning & baffling & progressive. My husband's illness became progressively worse when he retired. He was a cop & was also suffering from PTSD. He got a DUI in 2013 & was 5150 in 2015. He was admitted several times to the hospital for DT's & alcoholic hallucinations. His battle with alcoholism ended on 09/5/15. I miss him dearly. I did get to speak with him on the phone right before he died & tell him that I loved him. So grateful for that moment. He now is in peace, finally.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
