My mom died 4 months ago
My mom had pulmonary fibrosis. She was sick for a few years. It was funny how when my grandmother smoked, my mom would always say-I’m gonna die from second hand smoke. My mom never smoked. She died from lung disease. Ironic.I was fine at the funeral. Planning. Talking to everyone. I thought u handled it great. Now 4 months later, I’m a mess. Just wanted to say hi :) I too lost my mom to cancer this year, on Jan 22. She was only 55 and she is and always will be my best friend. I am only 32 and have 2 small children and just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd. She was able to hold my hand through the birth of my first two children, but after I had my son (who will be 2 on Thursday) she found out a month later that she had stage 4 lung cancer despite never smoking a day in her life and being extremely healthy up until that point. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of her every minute
