Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can. Just wanted to say hi :) I too lost my mom to cancer this year, on Jan 22. She was only 55 and she is and always will be my best friend. I am only 32 and have 2 small children and just found out I am pregnant with my 3rd. She was able to hold my hand through the birth of my first two children, but after I had my son (who will be 2 on Thursday) she found out a month later that she had stage 4 lung cancer despite never smoking a day in her life and being extremely healthy up until that point. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of her every minute
