My Fathers Loss
Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More

Dear Edward:
There are no words like I can say to comfort you ( at least I don't know them)
i too suffered a sudden loss of my dear husband Andrew, it is unexpected
and you will be playing it over and over in your head for months to come.
I wish I could say it gets better, what I can say is you never accept it you
" get use to the feeling" so to speak. Hang in there and visit here often it would
get you through some of the hard moments.
(((hug))

You are correct. If you pay attention, the subtle signs from loved ones do appear.
Oh dear, Edward L in NJ. I am so so sorry. This is not the time of year to lose your loved one. Baby steps. Be thankful if you can get a shower or eat something. Grief is a huge mountain.
