- About Me:
- I'm 53, I'm a Christian, unmarried and no children. I was forced to get on disability about 10 years ago due to health reasons.
- About my Loss:
- I don't quite know where to begin. I'll try not to drag it out. In the past year and a half I've lost 12 family and dear close friends either to death or other circumstances. In addition I lost my dog of 14 years and I will be losing my 2 horses this week of which I've had for 10+ years. It all seems to have started 2 years ago when my dearest friend that was closer than a sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I was her primary caretaker for 6 months before she passed. From there everything went from bad to worse. Her daughter that I was very close to and had been like a 2nd mom to shut me out of her and her families life immediately after her mom died. I don't know why she refuses to tell me. My sister committed suicide last April, my Aunt died soon afterwards, my dog died that I'd had for 14 years, 3 close friends have walked out of my life with no explanation, now I'm losing my horses. One was a gift to me from my friend that died of cancer. I lost my business and business partner last April. My uncle passed this last week. I've lost both parents years ago. I've had other life changes too. I feel completely empty. I thought I was doing pretty good until this month. The losses, rejection and all the betrayals have me so tired. I have nothing left inside me. I can't explain how tired I am.
