About Me:
I am almost 50 with 2 kids, 22 year old son with Autism and a 16 year old daughter. I met my husband in April1989 and married Aug 4, 1990. Our marriage was amazing, love in CA for the first 10 years then move to MD for the remainder of our marriage. We were married for 25 years and every day we were still like newlyweds and very much in love with each other.
About my Loss:
My husband,Mark was diagnosed with Glioblastoma stage 4 Feb 29, 2016. March 4th was his 55th birthday and his first surgery, they removed a tumor the size of a tennis ball. The tumor was located on the visiul processing area. He did OK for a while, but was having a hard time reading. Radiation, Chemotherapy, and steriod were the next steps, tumor was no longer visible. The steriods wete now affecting his muscles and his ability to think fully. We got all of his paper work done through work. Social security stuff, early medical retirement. He was given 14 months survival, so we got everything in order. He kept getting worse mind wise, in October the tumor grew grew back this time it was the size of a golf ball, had his 2nd surgery to remove it. Then they discovered he had hydrocephalus. They put in a shunt in, kept up with more chemotherapy and the dose 9steroids were increased. At this point Mark was in a psychosis state of mind. Tumor grew back again, it was too soon after the last brain tumor surgery. More things happened due to the drug Avastin. Jan 19 he came home to ur house on Hospice, Jan 28 he was moved to The hospice house and he died peacefully Feb 01, 2016.

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
