About Me:
My sister and I are trying to investigate the suspicious death of our mother. I'm 42 years old. My sister is 44.
About my Loss:
Our mother died 10 months ago under very suspicious circumstances. The police immediately determined her death as kidney failure. She was found naked (which was extremely unlikely for our mother). Her house wad destroyed. Broken glass everywhere, drawers rifled through, shower curtain ripped down. A neighbor came forward to tell the police they witnessed a man and a woman arguing in our mom's front yard and going in and out of her house. They also pulled her their car into the driveway backward with the trunk open. Because of the police's immediate cause of death, we had the body cremated. Months later we found out her death was determined as "accidental" and "seizure of unknown etiology." Our mother did not have seizures. She died of a blow to the right side of her head. She also had bruised on her thighs and arms. When I talked to the coroner's office, they had no idea that her death had been deemed as suspicious. I just don't know where to go from here. Grief and depression has left us frozen.

Grandma sewing room
