Quickly. Mom was never sick, she always bragged about that.
Tuesday Feb 16th at 7:30 PM we called an ambulance to take Mum to Etobicoke General. She spent the night in the reses emerge. Wednesday morning she was admitted to the ICU. By Friday morning the sat us down with the grief counselor and doctor in the " quiet room " Friday afternoon they turned the oxygen up from 75% to 95%. ( regular oxygen is only 21% ) Sunday at 11AM we made the decision to take her off the high concentrated oxygen and put her on regular. She passed peacefully around 3:40 wtih April and I holding her hands and Liz by our sides. April and I stayed with her day and night. The hospital staff were wonderful.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
