Your post struck a bit of a chord with me.  My birthday is January 14th and in 2013 I had eight days left before my husband died.  He was diagnosed with stage four cancer on xmas 2012 so he had only 27 days left.  So when you wrote that in the same year around the same time you lost your husband I felt a tug to write.  

I am so sorry to hear the circumstances of how you lost your husband.  Suddenness is so shocking.  There is not enough preparation for any of us to understand death no matter how much time we are given.  I have been on this site for quite awhile now and I come here just to know that my feelings are not abnormal.  Our journeys are unique but our need to find ways to cope are the same.  Reading and writing about our loss has helped me and I hope you can find some of the same help by coming here.
