Hi everyone. This is my first post here.I lost my brother in December 2024 to an accidental overdose. He passed away suddenly in his sleep. We were only a year and a half apart in age, and he was the closest person I've ever had.One thing I've been struggling with ever since is that I feel an overwhelming pressure to reply to texts and answer calls as soon as I can. AND IN BETWEEN THAT TIME I ALSO LOST A DEAR FRIEND IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND MY NEIGHTBOR TO CANCER.
ITS ALL TO MUCH. I JUST PRAY FOR GOD TO GIVE ME STRENGTH.
ITS LIKE I ALL THE MEN I CARED ABOUT AND LOVED HAVE DIED.
I PRAY MY SEASON IS OVER AND GOOD THINGS WILL SOON HAPPEN.
TEARS ARE LESS BUT STILL AT THE DROP OF A HAT I START CRYING.
YOU TAKE CARE HONEY. I WAITED UNTIL I WAS FIFTY TO FIND THE MAN FOR ME. MY SOULMATE HE IS FOREVER. HE IS WITH ME, I FEEL HIM ALL THE TIME, BUT I SO WISH I COULD SEE HIM . ITS SO HARD ISN'T IT.
UNBEARABLE AT TIMES. ONE DAY I JUST SCREAMED. ANOTHER I SANG A SPIRITUAL SONG AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS. HOPING SOMEHOW THIS WOULD MAKE THE HURT AND SORROW GO AWAY.
THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE ALSO LOST A SPOUSE. WRITE ME ANYTIME.
