About Me:
Recently widowed for the second time. I thought it might be easier to cope but it's only getting worse.
About my Loss:
Shortly after we moved in together in 2011 he was diagnosed with cancer. I supported him through 5 surgeries, chemo, radiation before we got married. Unfortunately two years later we found out it had metastasized to lungs. Once again chemo, clinical trials etc. until 9/1 when he came home from work and I insisted an er visit was indicated. Lost battle at home 9/30

Been a nurse 30 years focused on geriatrics and hospice care. Have had 2 grandmothers, both parents and now 2 husbands die at home but you wouldn't know it by talking to me....feel like I'm losing my mind this time

Grandma sewing room

So I am almost done with cleaning my grandmas sewing room that wasn’t touched in 10 years because of all the mess, but now that she passed away 2 days ago, I don’t know if I should continue, I wanna finish what I started but I don’t know what to do, my grandpa is still alive and I don’t want to leave this burden on him.See More
