About Me:
I am 52 years old, I am currently unemployed and looking for work.
I have to grown kids, a son 19 and a daughter 21. I am looking for a new place to live so I can be back together with my kids, since I was living with my fiancé up until his sudden death.
About my Loss:
I lost my fiancé John on June 15, 2014, I came home from a trip to see a music festival, which he didn't want to go to (we did things on our own, and that was ok for us), I came home to find him on the bed in a diabetic coma. He was a type 1 diabetic and he was only 52 years old. At first, I thought he was just sleeping because he was lying there snoring. I went about getting myself ready for bed, and when I came to bed I tried to tell him something, and he didn't respond. I got up and started shaking him, he stayed the same, still snoring, checked his blood sugar (it was 30 then 41) and called 911 at 11:50pm, he was taken to the hospital and died there at 2:30am. He died because his blood sugar was at 0.

My Fathers Loss

Many years ago, I lost my father after his battle with colon cancer that later spread to his bones. The grief stayed with me longer than I expected. Ambrosia Behavioral Health helped me work through that loss, understand my emotions, and find healthier ways to cope and move forward. https://www.ambrosiatc.comSee More
