About Me:
40 y-o white female. 3rd of 4 children. A sister and brother are twelve and ten years older and a brother six years younger, who has mental disability. Parents divorced after 28 years of marriage, the year I graduated high school. Father was alcoholic. Helped mother move 1000 miles away after graduation. Huge culture shock. Never lost anyone very close to me. Mom is my best friend.
About my Loss:
Just found out last week that mother, who has NEVER been sick, in hospital, or surgery, has cancer that is not operable and not treatable. I live 700 miles away from her. My family is supportive of me moving to be with my mom until the end. Family tells me not to cry around mom. I have always been the emotional one.
