- In October 2011, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer after a four-year battle. Forty-three days later, I lost my father to non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma after an eight-month battle. The last year has been horrific for me and my family.

i lost my mother to bile duct cancer January 7th, 2012, after a two month battle. I am now losing my father to ptostate and colon cancer, Even though he isnt gone yet, he will be soon. I am so sorry.
