About Me:
My names Danielle, Im 23, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Just looking to find new people to talk to that can understand the pain one feels from loss. Especially loss of a loving, supportive mother.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom on April 1st, 2009, after i had just turned 20, she was my absolute best friend, my best supporter, my biggest fan, and the best mother anyone could imagine. She was a diabetic, and prior to her passing, she was bedbound for close to eleven years, with every different problem you could imagine, from strokes, to heart disorders, and even a brain infection. But regardless of all this, she still fought through and kept her family together. She was my reason to live, my purpose in life to take care of her, and in return she supported me mentally and emotionally, showering me with love, strength, and acceptance. Since I've lost her, I've lost myself and during the past two years, all I've done is work at not showing my weakness in loss, but with no true support or love, and what i was used to with her, in my life, i feel I'm losing this battle with life.
