- About Me:
- Professional Male who had the Honor and Privalidge of caregiving for 2 of my Family members. My Brother for 2 1/2 years and my Mom for aprox 10 yrs.
- About my Loss:
- My Brother and Buddy passed away about 3 years ago and I wish we would have had more time together to build some good memories.
My Mom also went to be with The Lord just a little over a year ago and I miss her more than life itself...it was such a joy to take care of her,reverse some of her pain,bring her joy,make her laugh and smile and do my best to make her feel as special as she really was. We were together so long that she actually became like 3 people to me...my Mom,my Daughter and my Best Friend along with Jesus and I don't know which one of them that I miss the most !!! Caregiving was the joy of my life and my identity and when it ended there was no more me ! I struggle to find joy in anything now even though I know that they would want me to be happy...it will take much time but I want to honor them by allowing this deep pain to help me minister to others in any kind of pain at all so that it will bring worth and meaning to the intense loss !
